Manufacturing Technical Assistant

CK Group are recruiting for a Manufacturing Technical Assistant to join a life sciences business that is experiencing rapid growth at their facility located in Eastleigh on a permanent basis.
The Company:
Our clients are experts in real-time PCR, a molecular biology technique for detecting the presence of DNA/RNA and quantifying it. They have customers in many different industries including academia, research, healthcare, food industry and the veterinary industry selling to over 130 countries worldwide.
Location:
This Manufacturing Technical Assistant role is located in Eastleigh on the south coast of England near to Southampton.
Manufacturing Technical Assistant Role:

• Managing the introduction of new products and technologies into the Production and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Setting up product labelling for new products in Sage 200.
• Writing and reviewing manufacturing SOPs, forms and quality procedures.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Good technical scientific writing skills
• PCR experience
• Degree educated preferred
• Knowledge of ISO9001
• Previous lab environment experience
• Ideally, some knowledge of Sage or similar sort of ERP computer systems
