Manufacturing Project Manager

Location: Brentwood, Essex

We are looking for an ambitious Project Manager to join a growing manufacturing company with offices in Brentwood and London. They have recently won some major projects within the UK with prestigious beauty customers.

As a Project Manager, you will be part of a close-knit team running a portfolio of projects within the cosmetics sector. However, we encourage applicants from all manufacturing backgrounds to apply.

Key duties:

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and minimise costs.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of production schedules to meet customer demands.
  • Establish and manage project time-lines, milestones, and budgets to achieve project objectives within set parameters.
  • Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts to optimise inventory management.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on project progress.

The ideal candidate for the role will:

  • Have a proven track record in successfully delivering projects.
  • Be able to move projects forward, motivate cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and keep customers updated on progress.
  • Be confident in negotiating and influencing at all levels and competent in written comms, presentations and reporting.
  • Be a problem solver - keeping projects on track, mitigating any issues which may cause delays, solving customer queries and incorporating any changes they want to make part way through.
  • Be proficient in ERP systems and planning software.
