Job Description
As a Manufacturing Project Engineer, you will be joining the Derby team to support our activities within the aerospace sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Leading and coordinate manufacturing projects from concept to delivery, ensuring of the project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Managingengineering
teams to plan and perform surveillance and approval of contractor deliverables and design activities.
Providingtechnical expertise and support the manufacturing team
withtroubleshooting
issuesand implementing correctactions to ensure of production operations.
Collaboratingwith suppliers, maintaining accurate project
documentationincluding
manufacturing procedures, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality components.

Experience, skills and qualifications required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related roles within the aerospace industry.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and familiarity with ERP systems for manufacturing.
Strong technical proficiency in manufacturing processes, including machining, fabrication, assembly, and finishing techniques.
Good knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP, FAA regulations).
Degree in a relevant engineering field.
