The Company
Firmly entrenched as a key supplier into the global manufacturing industry, this successful and growing business has an enviable list of clients across a wide range of sectors including; Automotive, Aerospace, Off-Highway and Rail to name but a few. With a period of growth and continuous improvement focus, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager to become a key part of the Senior Leadership Team.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Engineering Manager will be the SLT lead for the Manufacturing and Process Engineering teams across the business who are focused on the development of CAPEX and technology in this key area. As a capable and energetic leader of people you will strive for best-in-class engineering delivery across all areas of production and lead the NPI strategy for the business in order to deliver quality products to their varied and demanding customer base.
The Person
With a proven background in Manufacturing and Process Engineering within a metals-based Fabrication, Presswork, Welding and / or Assembly environment, the ideal candidate will be a capable and driven leader of people with a strategic ability to drive industry leading engineering solutions. A solid all-round knowledge of continuous improvement and modern manufacturing process will be required as will experience with robotics and automation in a manufacturing / production environment. Knowledge of the Automotive / Off Highway industry would also be highly advantageous.
