About The Role
At Morrisons were proud to produce high quality meat products for our customers in store, and our external partners. Were looking for a Manufacturing Line Leader to join our abattoir manufacturing site. Working closely within a small team, youll support and organise the team to ensure the line is running smoothly and maximising achievement to targets such as efficiency, yield, cost, waste and service level.
Helping colleagues to follow their health and safety and food safety training, youll make sure that quality, food safe products are produced for customers. Following good manufacturing practices is really important to us at Morrisons, and youll guide colleagues to make sure the working area is clean and tidy at all times. Sharing knowledge with colleagues and training new members of staff will be an important part of your role. Ideally youll also have a good product and specification knowledge across the whole range of products within the boning hall for beef.

About You
Youll be the kind of person who:
Enjoys working in a fast paced physical manufacturing environment, with chilled temperatures between 2 and 9 degrees
Is able to comply with relevant business and site policies, such as health and safety and food safety standards
Is flexible, adaptable and enjoys teamwork
Is able to complete training to meet operational requirements
Has an understanding of the slaughter and boning process for beef, with previous knife and butchery skills and willing to work in the presence of raw meat

About Us Description:Here we produce high quality meat for processing at our meat and chilled manufacturing sites. Theres also a good chance that your lamb chops came from this site in Scotland.
Operating five days a week, our Turriff manufacturing facility covers 150,000 square feet on seven acres of land. At our cattle and sheep processing site, our 300+ colleagues supply beef and lamb to Farmers Boy and external businesses such as Birds Eye. We also source Scottish livestock for our Scottish stores.
