You’re a proven Manufacturing Engineering manager. You have a wide experience of manufacturing and design knowledge, always aligning to the key principles of production engineering, continuous improvement, and root cause corrective action.
You work across all levels and functions within a manufacturing environment covering production, cost, and delivery.

Working across all levels and functions within the business creating, planning, and implementing continuous improvements in line with production targets and the functional roadmap.

As part of this role, you’ll be:
Developing and implementing production continuous improvement plans
Supporting the delivery of production targets
Implementing process controls
Taking ownership of SOP’s, tools, and fixtures
Managing and leading cross-functional teams
Leading all functions in the production process
Taking on training and installing the production methodology and approach
Ideally, you’ll have:
A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Proficiency in the use of 3D CAD packages in creating Jigs
Advanced computer literacy (Use of MS Office Suite and VISIO)
Working to LEAN & Six Sigma methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Design for Manufacture awareness
An excellent grasp of engineering and design principles
