This is a really exciting opporutnity, the business invests annually on equipment, processes and staff. This role is pivitol in working on key projects and driving the business forward. Role DescriptionManage the team members within Production Engineering and work closely with key technical staff to ensure there is application of appropriate engineering skills, support is provided for production and NPI Porjects. Manage and improve business facilities, overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time and to budgetAssiting the business in providing a safe environment for staff with development opportuntiesEnsure the business is supported in solving problem that affect production, minimising delaysConduct H&S risk assessments Utilise PFMEA where possible Ensure the design, trial, manufacture and commission of tools and fixturesImplement and work to KPI's, promoting lean tools and culture Skills and QualificationsMinimum 5 Years manufacturing experience within an engineering leadership roleTrack record of successfully managing and developing teams and individualsProven responsibility for engineering budgets, including CAPEX expenditureProficent use of CAD Packages - Solidworks, SolidEdge, AutoCADExperience in applying CI / Lean principles in a manufacturing settingProject Management experienceExcellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and WordData-driven and analyticalCompany InformationAs a business our client is a true market leader within their industry with a strong presence across the UK.
