Science Solutions Recruitment are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. Our client is a global materials and chemicals manufacturer based in the Derbyshire area.
Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Derbyshire area
Qualifications:
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
2+ years of industrial experience in a similar role
Experience in manufacturing carbon fibre materials is highly desirable
Previous experience with process improvement
Project management experience or qualifications
Responsibilities:
Run department machinery
Handle NCRs
Participate in customer and product trials
Provide at-line training on manufacturing practices
Collaborate with other departments to solve equipment issues
Resolve operational difficulties
Offer technical problem-solving support
Optimize production processes
Manage projects independently and collaboratively
