Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer required for our global client based in Derby, this is a permanent opportunity to join a thriving business.
The role of the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for responding to any queries from manufacturing suppliers, or engineering queries that may arise from the operational teams.
Responsibilities:

• Initial point of contact for any manufacturing queries.
• Work with suppliers (UK and overseas) to provide technical tooling solutions.
• Creation, review and amendment of manufacturing and inspection documentation.
• Writing of modification and repair specifications to allow pricing and manufacturing of tools.
• Recording and maintaining information on ERP & other IT systems.

Key Skills

• Professional qualification HNC/Degree in an engineering experience in manufacturing environments in a technical role.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic/hydraulic/pneumatics controls and systems.
• Understanding of CE/UKCA Directives and Marking
• Understanding of lifting equipment inspection requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driving licence and passport is essential.
• UK and worldwide as required.

38 hours per week, Mon-Fri. Flexible
Salary: �34,000 to �38,000 (dependant on experience and skills)
