A well-established manufacturer in Knowsley are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their engineering team. Reporting into the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for providing production support for equipment and processes including set-up, maintenance, and optimisation. On offer is a starting salary of �32,000 to �34,000. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm.
The main duties of a Manufacturing Engineer are:

• Create and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance SOP's and Total Productive Maintenance schedules for key manufacturing equipment.
• Anticipate problems to avoid production impact.
• Provide reactive breakdown support.
• Provide maintenance support to the wider teams (Manufacturing and Engineering).
• Generate and implement additional SOP's.
• Implement 5S initiatives across the site
• Providing training support to colleagues.
• Work closely with Quality.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous improvements across the business.
• Optimise test processes.
• Lead and contribute to operational improvement projects.
• Support with audits.
• Maintain records of all activities.
