Manufacturing Engineer - 9 Month FTC Maternity Cover

South Coast - �40,000 - 45,000 Pro Rata

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our key client on the South Coast.
The ideal candidate will be a Manufacturing Engineer or similar with 5 years' experience in a similar role to hit the ground running!

Key Responsibilities:

• The Manufacturing Engineer will be supporting the company assembly line to improve processes using Lean techniques and ensure the handling of all parts and assemblies have packing fit for purpose
• Work with the H&S manager to ensure ISO45001 status is achieved and maintained
• Provide a focus on ensuring existing and new products are manufactured in line with company requirements to cost, quality and delivery and recommend manufacturing improvements where required.
• Create and edit production documentation to include FMEA`s and check sheets in line with customer APQP requirements

Key Attributes:

• Any CAD experience is highly beneficial
• 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing methods, 8D methodology, Kaizen 5S etc.
