Location: Broughton, Flintshire
Contract Duration: 12 months (inside IR35)
Working Hours: Mon-Thurs, 8:45 pm - 6 am
Hourly Rate: �35.03 (Umbrella) OR �26.48 (PAYE) + 30% shift uplift

The Opportunity

Belcan Workforce Solutions are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to join one of our Aerospace client's Production team based in Broughton, Flintshire.

This role involves permanent night shifts as you will be part of a team on shifts passing, working towards an end goal of keeping production going 24 hours a day in order to meet production requirements.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our client's production team, ensuring that work package targets are met and maintain the highest quality standards.

You'll work line side, identifying potential issues before they disrupt production. Your quick thinking and self-motivation will be crucial in keeping operations running smoothly. Tackling long-standing problems and driving future improvements will be part of your daily routine.

You'll perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on production tooling, ensuring it meets the required build standards. Your attention to detail will keep our processes finely tuned. Your role will also involve continuous improvement, always seeking ways to enhance our client's output and meet the design intent flawlessly.

Requirements

In this critical position, you'll be at the forefront of production operations, ensuring seamless workflow and maintaining top-notch quality. Your SAP experience will empower you to navigate our client's systems efficiently, while your expertise in concession planning will help you handle deviations with finesse. Additionally, your knack for SOI rewrites will keep documentation impeccable, and your understanding of the aerospace industry will be invaluable.

Your ability to apply problem-solving techniques will turn challenges into victories, making you an indispensable part of our team. And if you happen to be familiar with Catia V5 or have knowledge of composite materials, consider it a bonus!
