Our client is a family-run manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to continued customer growth they are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with potential to grow into bigger roles in the future!

Role & Responsibilities:

• Experience as Manufacturing Engineer in a Mechanical Mnaufacturing Environment
• Hands-on Manual Machining experience (This isn't a desk job!)
• Knowledge of Engineering processes, tools and techniques
• Great communication skills
• Ability to use or learn to use Fusion 360
• Some Design Engineering knowledge/experience

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• This is a cradle to grave role- involving Designing, Layout, Manufacturing and Assembling
• Creating Layout plans for CNC Machinery and Constructing Assemblies
• You will work withvery bespoke machinery- some of it designed and manufactured ton site
• Some Design using Fusion 360 software (around 25% of the role)
• A lot of Problem solving, research and development- Thinking of ideas, processing and planning with team
• Continuous improvement and process evaluation.
• Design and manufacture of jigs, tools and fixtures on both CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Assist with the design and manufacture on new plant and equipment.
• Assist with new product development and production processes.
• 3D CAD design and CAD /CAM manufacture.
• Assisting with maintaining plant, tooling and equipment.
• Programing purpose made CNC machines (including forging, grinding, grinding and cutting)
• Assist in solving quality issues and implement solutions to avoid said issues
