To formulate and execute marketing strategy for the branch with an aim to promote businesses and upkeep the reputation of the branch To carry out business support function by way of MI report preparation and data analysis within the Business Development Department to help the department achieving departmental targets. To keep abreast of internal and external regulatory updates and align the departmental manual and procedure with the latest requirements. To perform data analytic in presentation and assist Department Head to formulate business strategies based on historical performance and predictive analysis

Design and branding Copywriting, translation and editing Media management Advertising E-channel content management Customer communication Internal communication Events
UK branch strategy
Draft annual business plan Draft annual 5-year business plan Draft Powerpoints for GMs meeting (yearly plus ad hoc)
Management papers
Draft papers for proposals to Head Office (HO), e.g. project expenditure, organisation realignment / headcount, special expenses
Regulatory
Preparation of presentation and reply letter (annually) to regulator Assist in HO Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement updates
Reputation risk management
Monitor google reviews, Q&As, and app reviews Collate monthly return
Business Development Committee
Call meeting monthly and set agenda Report marketing-related matters for review and approval Assist in carrying out agreed actions Write minutes of meeting Support New Product Evaluation and New Product Approval Process (e.g. completion of forms)
Policy reviews
Review those under the purview of Business Development Committee, Executive Committee and ESG Task Force Maintain and regularly update Reputation Risk Management Manual Maintain and regularly update Advertising and Business Policy Guidelines for New Product Approval Procedures (with appendices and annex)
UK Chinese Bankers’ Association
Set agenda, prepare papers and chairman’s notes, attend meetings, take minutes (quarterly) Assist in other communications with members and external parties Organise annual dinner (secure venue, invite speakers, process payment) Write speech for the Chairman Assist in other ad hoc activities (e.g. line up professional firms to share in meetings)
Community engagement
Act as the contact point for the Chinese community; refer community requests to management / ESG Task Force Sponsorship and donation screening and management Financial literacy content creation and distribution Event organisation, e.g. financial literacy for the community
ESG
Responsible for customer education materials Write minutes for ESG Task Force (quarterly) Draft responsible citizens return - community activities and ESG Reporting - Quantitative Data Collection (annually) Review write-ups and translations
Miscellaneous
Supplier management (marketing-related) Corporate items order processing and stock management (including store room 5) Manage other corporate items (e.g. core value posters ordering and replacement) Source and order ad hoc customer campaign items locally Market condition highlights for monthly Financial Performance Report (monthly) Manage annual FT contract, usage data and user subscriptions Processing and submitting marketing and community payments
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed: Essential skills:
University graduate. Proficient in spoken and written Cantonese and English. Solid experience in marketing function in regulated industries. Good knowledge of the UK banking practice and relevant regulatory requirements. IT literate and strong knowledge in the use of Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and good attention to details. Project and event management skills.
Desirable skills:
Experience in using PowerBI. Experience in using CRM software. Data analytic skills.
