Croda’s Consumer Care business developsinnovative and sustainable ingredients that provide vital functionality toconsumer care formulations, enabling customers to differentiate their products,build strong brands, meet their sustainability commitments and satisfy changingconsumer requirements.We are looking to recruit aManaging Director for EMEA Operations to authentically lead the strategicdirection of manufacturing sites in line with overall business strategy andlive the Croda values. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, thisindividual will lead the regional operations strategy and take direct responsibilityfor the capex, organisational culture, safety, procurement, and overallproduction delivery of sites in EMEA.This is a role for a progressiveand inclusive leader who can develop a high-performance working culture whilstcrafting and implementing an operations strategy for the regional Consumer Carebusiness.Whowe're looking for:Prior experience in a Site / Operations leadership role within a high hazard (COMAH) manufacturing environmentDemonstratable track record in devising, communicating and implementing an agile manufacturing strategyExcellent people leader with a background in coaching and developing a diverse, inclusive and high performing working culturePrior experience of leading large capex investment projectsPassion for behavioural, process and operational safety within a manufacturing environment with an ability to embed safety as a value across the regionStrong business acumen and customer centricity with a clear understanding of how customer and market demand impact operational strategyHighly collaborative and authentic leader with the ability to build strong working relationships within Croda’s global networkPassionate about building a matured continuous improvement culture based on ideation and innovation throughout the operations organisation.KeyResponsibilitiesProduce and execute an operational strategy covering the needs of the Consumer Care business, encompassing all areas of Operations, SHEQ and Organisational Development to build a highly efficient and high performing culture.Take accountability for ensuring that Corporate safety and sustainability objectives are met at the sites whilst actively supporting the development of our SHEQ cultureOwn and develop the specialised infrastructure and practices required to comply with the standards high hazard manufacturingBuild a high performing team culture where the adoption of new ideas, and challenging the status quo, bring new innovative solutions to the manufacturing organizationLead the strategic capital (CAPEX) programme for investment in internal manufacturing and scale up facilitiesWork closely with other Operations MDs across the business to optimise sharing of regional services and supportSet clear leadership expectations regarding talent development at the sites, ensuring such talent is fostered, coached and shared across the organisationWork closely together with R&T to transfer scaled up processes onto commercial scale manufacturing assetsEnsure Supply and Operational Planning processes are developed to support customer specific requirements.Crodarecognizes employees as our strength and the diversity they bring to ourworkforce are directly linked to our ongoing success.
