ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant for our vibrant London-based Corporate Sustainability team. This role is pivotal in leading project delivery, managing client engagements, and overseeing a portfolio of projects, primarily in the technology sector, among other industries. The role will be part of an experienced team of consultants focused on supporting clients with their biggest challenges related to sustainability strategy and disclosure in this pivotal decade of action. You will be part of a global network of 8,000+ experts across the full spectrum of sustainability imperatives. Sustainability is our business. Key Skills Experience in a sustainability/ESG advisory position with responsibilities for project management, client engagement and business development. Some experience supporting clients in for example, conducting materiality assessments, developing and implementing sustainability strategies, working with key ESG frameworks such as GRI, SASB, , CSRD, etc. Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and partners, understanding opportunities for extending client relationships and participating actively in client development activities. Structured and effective communication that can shape and deliver messages to executive level and facilitate effective client engagements. Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills. Excellent team management and delegation skills, including the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment. Passionate about sustainability topics and pragmatic about how our corporate clients (some of the world’s leading companies) can help drive impactful outcomes. Experience working with companies in the Technology sector on sustainability topics is preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead client engagements, acting as the primary contact and project lead.  Provide oversight through the project lifecycle, including scoping, budget and delivery. Manage and mentor a team of 1-3 consultants on projects, fostering their professional growth and ensuring effective delivery. Serve as a liaison between clients, consultants, and Partners, ensuring smooth project progression. Actively contribute to our team culture, embodying our values and supporting company-wide initiatives. ERM Culture  We aim to build an inclusive culture by identifying, acquiring, developing and retaining a highly skilled and high performing workforce which reflects the diverse global marketplace in which we operate, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religious preference, sexual orientation, physical attributes, educational background. ERM care about our people, their safety and career development as well as their well-being.
