Position Summary:The International Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and driving the central marketing strategy across all international markets, ensuring alignment with the company's global business goals and collaboration with regional distributors.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the bike industry and a proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies in collaboration with regional partners.
Position Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Marketing, your core responsibilities will include: Strategy Development: Develop and refine the international marketing strategy to support global business objectives, including market entry, product launches, and brand positioning.Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate the activities of regional marketing managers to ensure effective execution of the global marketing strategy.Distributor Collaboration: Act as the primary marketing liaison with regional distributors, ensuring their marketing plans and budgets are aligned with the global marketing strategy.Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand local consumer behaviors and trends.Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze marketing performance across regions, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet global targets.Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget allocation across regions, ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum impact.Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate with sales, product development, and customer service departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging and strategy implementation.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:REQUIREMENTS:Experience in the outdoor sports industry, preferably in the mountain biking sector.Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform strategic decisionsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals and external partnersAbility to travel internationallyFluency in English is a must; additional languages is appreciatedPosition Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Experience:5+ years of experience in marketing management with a focus on international marketing
