About the JobThe role of the Global People Solutions Team is to enable a people experience that is unique to CHANEL as human-centered employer, leveraging people data and an eco-system of digital solutions aligned with the Organization & People strategic ambition.We are looking for an experienced Manager, Global People Sustainability Reporting to join our teams in London. You will play a leading role in establishing and maintaining effective data governance frameworks for HR data to be reported across the organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing the process of collecting, validating, and reporting human resources and sustainability data in compliance with the company's policies and external regulations. The individual will work closely with the HR, sustainability, finance, and IT departments to ensure that data is accurate, complete, and presented in a way that supports the company's sustainability goals and compliance with CSRD requirementsThis roles reports to the Head of People Analytics and People Data Governance.Leveraging your unique experiences, Chanel will enable you to…Develop and maintain a comprehensive system/frameworks for collecting HR and sustainability data from various departments and global locations.Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data through regular audits and validation processes.Lead the consolidation of data in preparation for internal and external sustainability reporting, including annual sustainability reports and submissions to regulatory bodies.Collaborate with IT to implement and improve data management systems and technologies that support efficient and secure data consolidation.Work with the HR and sustainability teams to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with the company's sustainability strategy and reporting standards.Train and guide staff across the company on data collection and reporting procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.Stay updated on changes to sustainability reporting standards and regulations, such as the CSRD, and ensure that the company's reporting practices are aligned with these changes.Coordinate with external auditors and consultants during the sustainability reporting verification process.Communicate with stakeholders to explain data collection processes and how the company's sustainability performance is measured and reported.Be the HR Data representative in the global ESG Governance, developing and maintaining strong relationships with sustainability leadership teams to provide strategic support and ensure clear communication and cross-functional partnerships.Analyze and interpret HR data relevant to Sustainability metrics, including diversity and inclusion, employee well-being, talent development, contingent workforce, training, health & safety, adequate wages, etc.You are energized by…Passion for Sustainability and CSRD: A deep commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility would be a driving force. Experience in data consolidation, management, and reporting, preferably within a sustainability or HR context.
Demonstrated experience in managing large datasets and conducting data audits for accuracy and completeness.
Previous involvement in CSR or sustainability reporting for a multinational corporation or complex organization.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather and validate data.
Project management experience, with a track record of successfully leading projects from inception to completion.
Comfortable with using Data Governance tools such as data catalogue
Knowledge of HRIS Technologies (Workday, Successfactors, Oracle Cloud….) is a plus
Knowledge of Data visualization tools like PowerBi or Tableau is a plus
Flexibility, curiosity, enthusiasm, attention to details
