Job Description Manager - Credit and Counterparty RiskContribute to the quality of the credit portfolio (both corporate credit risk and trade floor credit risk) by assisting with assessing, evaluation and providing recommendations upon transactions submitted to the London Credit Committee to ensure appropriate local oversight.Assist with monitoring the quality of accounts and providing timely review of all applications and submissions.Develop and maintain an extensive base of industry knowledge.Attend Credit Committee meetings and Present Credit papers to other members The Successful Applicant Financial ServicesHold a degree in business or related field with a focus on finance, accounting, or business, or possess equivalent work experience.Proficient in computer literacy, especially Excel/Power BI.Basic experience in banking or credit.Familiarity with the bank's risk appetite, lending policies, procedures, and local economic, accounting, and regulatory requirements.Understanding of loan structures and pricing.Ability to engage in substantive discussions on credit applications with banking and European office management, offering recommendations as appropriate.Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.Proficient in financial statement analysis and cash flow evaluation.
