OverviewBM TRADA, part of the Element Group, has a fantastic opportunity for a Auditor to join our growing Management Systems team! BM TRADA exists to help make certain that the materials, products and processes that we test, inspect and certify for our customers are always safe, of the highest quality and fit for purpose. You will be responsible for undertaking Management System audits supporting a variety of clients across the UK and Ireland.As you will be conducting remote and onsite audits, there will be travel within the role. The aim is to limit excessive travel and maintain a positive work/life balance. Through our Career Ladder professional development scheme we will work with you to progress your ambitions to achieve your career goals.ResponsibilitiesTo undertake audit activities (at client's premises or desk-based) and other related services in accordance with BM TRADA Certification proceduresTo ensure the audit schedules for defined clients are delivered to plan and in line with target objectivesConduct single and multi-discipline audits, staying away from home as necessary, with high level of detail and information gathering essentialComplete all client audit reports and administration to plan and submit to BM TRADA office as requiredMaintain regular reporting and communication with the client to ensure milestones are met on time and budget and advise of any additional opportunities for cross-selling of services and productsTo achieve planned personal utilisation levels in line with annual defined targets and objectivesTo maintain professional status and CPD requirements in accordance with accreditation and business requirements and to develop new audit and product skills as required and requestedSkills / QualificationsSignificant industrial experience in various sectors including construction, IT, printing, engineering, manufacturingSuccessful completion of QMS / EMS and / or OHSAS Lead Auditor course or equivalentHealth & Safety and/or Environmental qualification (Nebosh or equivalent) is desirableWorking knowledge of additional schemes, for example NHSS, ISO27001 and / or ISO50001 is desirable (ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001)Good IT skills and knowledge of systemsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and oralPrompt, accurate and reliable and an ability to work to deadlinesConfident, outgoing and diplomatic, yet firm as necessary along with strong influencing skillsPrepared to take on additional challenges as and when they are identifiedAbility and willingness to travel with frequent overnight stays - possibility of overseas work in longer termTo apply please email ######LI-LM1Diversity StatementAt Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
