Your New Role We have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Divisional Finance team, supporting the Complex Facilities Business unit. This role is based in Buckshaw near Chorley and offers Hybrid working.The purpose of the Management Accountant role is to be responsible for the divisional overheads and support the Divisional Finance Manager in the consolidation of the divisional contract results and cashflow management of the division.The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours, based on Monday – Friday.Work-life balance and flexibility are key for our success. And with a network of offices across the UK, we’re open to discussing working options that suit you.You will be responsible for: Overheads cost base of circa £8m Month-end close, P&L and Balance sheet reporting Support in the preparation of the MD pack for CEO review Support in divisional forecasting process (Budgets, RF1, RF2, Strategic Plan) Preparation of the overheads cashflow Preparation of divisional cashflow to be presented to the Divisional FD. Pro-active cash receipt management including regular board updates on latest cash forecast, risks & opportunities Oversight of divisional administration and compliance including divisional balance sheet reconciliations & IFRS15 reporting Prepare and issue the monthly recharges to our respective Joint Venture partners Support in financial modelling for new tenders Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager, Financial Controller & Finance Director Profile:We want to hear from you if you have: CIMA/ACCA/ACA (will also consider AAT or QBE) Ideally you will have worked within a large organisation Experience with or exposure to IFRS15 would be an advantage Ability to achieve tight deadlines with high degree of quality and understanding Strong IT skills including good knowledge of Excel (vlookups/ pivot tables / sumifs) Experience with SAP preferable Good knowledge of accounting practices, statutory regulations and reporting requirements and experience of forecasting Good communication skills at all levels
