Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role is ideal for a newly qualified accountant who has been working in accounting whilst training and wants to take the next step in their career. If you've got strong analytical skills, stakeholder management and the ability to multitask and prioritise, you'll be a great candidate to join this exciting role in our busy finance team!What you'll be doing:Preparing production of monthly management accountsTimely ledger posting of month end journalsCash flow preparation and analysisCompleting balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with the preparation for the annual external auditPreparation of VAT and regulatory returnsOpportunity to cover in other areas (AR; AP)What you'll bring to the role:CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalentExperience preparing monthly management accountsExperience with VAT returnsStrong Excel skills (use of pivot tables and vlookups a minimum)Comfortable working closely with multiple stakeholdersStrong attention to detail with good analytical skillsTeam player with good interpersonal skillsYou don't need to tick off everything on this list - so don't let that hold you back from applying.
