Management Accountant – Newry Newly Created Role | Permanent | Full Time | Site-based with the option to move to hybrid. REED is delighted to be partnered with a reputable and growing manufacturing client in County Down in the appointment of a full-time Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to get full exposure into a busy accounts department, guided by a fantastic team who pride themselves on fostering collaborative relationships with their colleagues. Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting with preparation of group management accounts, year-end accounts and board reports.Monitoring spending and recommending ways to reduce costs and increase profit.Assisting with group payroll when required.Enhancing procedures to improve efficiency.Production and distribution of financial KPIs.Keeping up to date with financial policies, regulations and legislation.Liaising with banking institutions and government agencies.Ad hoc financial analysis as required. The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
A critical thinker, with an eye for detail.Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.ACA, CIMA, or ACCA Part or newly qualified.Excellent knowledge of IFRS.Proficient in Sage 200 – desirable.Minimum of 2 years’ experience preparing management accounts to strict deadlines.Solid team player.
