Management Accountant

Your new company Innovative organisation, a division of a larger group in the engineering/construction sector seek to appoint an analytically minded accountant who will drive the accuracy of their monthly management accounts, cost tracking, and revenue recognition. Your new role Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting timelines.Oversee project accounting activities, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and job costing analysis.Collaborate with contract teams to enhance their understanding of financial data.Assist in the creation of management reports for company directors.Maintain effective communication channels to inform stakeholders of financial performance.Contribute to bank and cash flow analysis.Handle PAYE/CIS and VAT submissions.What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent) with strong month-end and management reporting skills. Experience in the construction or engineering industry is advantageous but not essential. A hands-on approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves will be essential.
