A great new role has just come up with a fantastic firm based in Southern Down specializing in the area food manufacturing! Our client are looking for a strong Part-Qualified/ Qualified Management Accountant to join their busy team. The successful candidate will ensure the timely preparation of monthly management accounts throughout the group including but not limited to balance sheer reconciliations. Moreover, this role will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and assist when and as required with financial forecasting and budgeting activities.Role Responsibilities;- Assist in compiling group management accounts, year-end accounts, and board reports.- Monitor expenditures and suggest strategies to reduce costs and enhance profits.- Assist with Group Payroll tasks as needed.- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.- Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting exercises.- Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies.- Coordinate with various departments to offer financial advice and assistance.- Production and distribution of financial key performance indicators (KPIs).Qualifications/ Qualities;- ACA, CIMA or ACCA Part or newly qualified.- Experience/ knowledge of IFRS.- Experience with Sage 200 – desirable but not essential.- Proficient understanding of financial accounting principles and methodologies- Capable of dissecting intricate financial information and offering precise insights- Exceptional focus on detail and adept organizational abilities
