Management Accountant

DescriptionMy client is an industry leading print business, established over 60 years ago they are a pioneer within the marketing and communications side of the industry. Based at their Stockport head office, they're currently seeking a qualified management accountant to work closely with the Group Reporting Manager.The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified / chartered accountant with experience of working for a global manufacturing, distribution or blue-chip commercial organisation.The RoleDeliver monthly accounting close process for 6 international entitiesPreparation and posting of monthly journalsAnalytical review of monthly resultsProvide commentary on key variancesMonthly balance sheet reconciliationsParticipate on statory external audits for the group and its subsidiariesFacilitate with audit partners statutory submissions including Excise, VAT and ONS submissionsPrepare annual budget working closely with key stakeholdersThe PersonGraduate level education with demonstrable academic successRecognised professional qualification or chartered accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT)Minimum of 5 years professional experienceEnteerprise level ERP experienceCan think strategically whilst also engaging in normal day-to-day tactical detailDetail-oriented individual who takes ownership, is organized, possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and is able to deliver on tight deadlinesHighly motivated, hard-working, and able to work in a fast paced, informal, and often ambiguous environment.Salary + BenefitsSalary on offer circa £45,000, plus benefits includinhg 25 days holidays (plus Bank Holidays), death in service, option to join group dental scheme, well-being program, cycle to work scheme, retail discounts, well-being programs, and more.Due to this role working in a secure environment, candidates will be subject to a financial and DBS check prior to onboarding.
