In this interesting and rewarding role, the successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and management team in the monitoring of all financial activities. This is a pivotal role in our growth and will offer financial support to our expanding global team.You will receive excellent support from our experienced CFO Consultant (UK based) who has worked with us since the very beginning of our journey.ResponsibilitiesUK and consolidated management accountsHelping the management team analyse and control activities in Nigeria, Pakistan and KenyaBe the main point of contact for audit work in the UK, and support non-UK teams with their auditsAssisting with Payroll via our external support servicesKeeping up to date management accounts on XeroCompleting P&L and balance sheet reviewsProviding variance analysis against budgetUpdating rolling forecasts and annual budgeting processSupport the cost accounting processProviding analysis in preparation for R&D tax credit submissionManaging employee expensesReview payroll schedules and supplier payment runsConducting financial analysis and providing actionable insights to managementContinuously review and enhance financial processes and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data integrityRequirementsOur ideal colleague will have the following skills, attributes and experience.Essential:ACCA or CIMA qualificationMinimum three years of experience of preparing UK accountsUnderstanding of the UK tax system and the practical application of PAYE and VATCompetent working with Google Sheets, creating graphs and other analyses to demonstrate key trends or characteristics of our businessA collaborative approach to working with colleaguesDesired:Experience of accounting outside the UKGood presentational skills, both oral and writtenBenefitsOur benefits include:We aim to provide all members of our team with flexibility.
