Job Description The Management Accountant will be;Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reportsOverseeing the budgeting and forecasting processesManaging financial audits and liaising with external auditorsMaintaining a robust financial control environmentAnalysing financial data and providing insightful business recommendationsSupporting the development and implementation of financial systemsManaging and mentoring members of the finance teamParticipating in cross-functional projects within the organisation The Successful Applicant A successful Management Accountant should have:A professional accounting part-qualified or qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting skillsProven ability to manage and mentor a teamExcellent analytical skills and ability to provide insightful business recommendationsExperience with financial systems development and implementation What's on OfferAn estimated hourly rate of £24.73 - £28.33Temporary to permanent 35 hours per week, flexible working hoursOpportunity to work within a leading Transport & Distribution companyProfessional and supportive work environmentTemporary role with potential for permanencyValuable industry and role exposureThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant in Birmingham to take the next step in their career.
