Job Purpose:Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will become the key stakeholder in the implementation of the NetSuiteERP software and post implantation be a figurehead within the Group for the software. Post implementation,the successful candidate will be responsible financial planning and analysis pillar of the finance department where yourskills will develop and enhance both the NetSuite product and the current reporting bundle ensuring a timelypresentation of the monthly reports. You will also assist with month end process, system upgrades and be responsiblefor the data controls within NetSuite for the group of companies. You will play an integral part in thedevelopment, growth and successful completion of the objectives of the Finance department.Why take this role?This role is a great chance to join a profitable dynamic group who have increased sales year on year for the past twelveyears. The group placeemployees at the heart of their plan and as well as the employees' benefits package, every week teams within thegroup will finish work early and have an end of the week social event.Key Responsibilities• Become a key partner in the development of the Group's financial planning and analysis specifically looking at:1. Systems development2. Sales reporting3. Gross Profit Margin4. Stock management5. Purchases6. Rebates7. Overhead analysis• Enhancing the group budgeting and forecasting framework• Assisting with the preparation of the consolidated management accounts for 12 companies• Provide variance analysis and commentary in support of the quarterly and monthly reports as directed• Identify new revenue opportunities or cost savings through variance analysis• Provide ad-hoc management reports as required• Be part of the ERP implementation team (Netsuite)• Take responsibility of supplier rebate process• Challenge the posting accuracy of all transactions• Suggest and implement improvements in the current systemsPlease note that this will change as the role and function to the business developsPerson SpecificationAccounting and SystemsMust have extensive experience of using and ERP implementations including the transfer of data and system set up, particularly around product set up.• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a busy, progressive and tightly managed business, includingmonthly reporting, annual budget preparations, financial modelling• Extensive experience of computerised accounting systems (preferably Netsuite)• Demonstrable experience of implementing new accounts systems• Highly proficient Microsoft Office user, particularly excel.Analytical Skills• Ability to 'think outside the box' and to assimilate data into meaningful financial information• Ability to deliver objective, accurate, high-quality reports to deadlines• Strong spreadsheet manipulation skills and aptitude for Excel work• A meticulous and methodical approach• Accuracy and attention to detail are absolute requirements to be successful in this rolePeople Skills• Good organisational and inter-personal skill• Able to communicate both verbally and in the written form effectively at all levels within a large organisation• Self-motivated and a consistent performer under pressure• Flexible approach to work• Must have a "can do attitude"Qualifications• CIMA or ACCA qualified or studying towards qualification
