Page Personnel are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business based in Sheffield. An excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant who is actively studying towards full qualification and wants a fast-paced Management Accounts position with lots of career progression opportunities. This position offers ACCA/CIMA study support, and hybrid working and is salaried up to £45,000.Job DescriptionReporting to the Group FP&A Manager as a Management Accountant you will be tasked with supporting the commercial finance team, helping with the month-end regime to ensure accurate reporting and throughout the month with Flash Reporting. Other ad hoc projects may arise during the role including assisting with ensuring rigorous systems and controls are in place.Alongside this your key tasks and accountabilities will be to;Assist the finance team with month end reporting, ensuring that accurate reports are delivered on time with an understanding for the numbers reported with ownership for particular sitesPrepare monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports (including preparation and posting journals, review of GRNI and general ledger entries)Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations along with investigation and satisfactory conclusion of reconciling itemsProvide relevant supporting documentation to the external auditors on requestWork with key stakeholders to deliver the daily financial KPIs. Assisting with ensuring the Finance team is fully aware of negative/positive P&L factorsCreate and maintain stakeholder relationships using own credibility and integrity. Attend and present at period end review meetings with the Finance DirectorAssistance in other ad hoc projects as requiredThe Successful ApplicantIdeally be AAT-qualified or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)Previous experience working in a similar role with knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations, forecasting, and budgeting. margins, journals, VAT returns will be advantageous.Comfortable with Microsoft Excel such as Vlookups or Pivot TablesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWhat's on OfferSalary up to £45,000 + Career progression opportunities + Pension Scheme + 25 days holidays plus banks + Study support ACCA / CIMA + Annual pay reviews + Free on-site parking + hybrid working + and many more!This website has app functionality.
