Role Responsibilities:
With the group growing both in terms of operating scale and geographies we are adding in this new role to strengthen the accounting team. This new role will report to the Group Finance Manager and will also work closely with Group Financial Controller and will be primarily focused on the preparation of monthly accounts for the group entities, supporting on audit, tax and statutory filings and improving
Assist the group reporting team in producing accurate management accounts, and other reports.
Accurate completion of balance sheet reconciliations.
Identify opportunities to continually improve the month-end reporting and finance processes.
Ensure financial controls are consistently adhered to.
Assist with audit and tax queries and provision of information and associated tasks.
Ensure revenue recognition is accurate.
Provide necessary data to facilitate preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts.
Support the implementation of a new Group Finance system and processes (NetSuite).
Finance Business Partnering, helping to ensure Finance sits at the heart of our Business.
Demonstrate the company values.
Ad hoc projects as required.
Required skills/experience/qualifications:
Required
·Problem solver with a can-do attitude
·Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
·Hands-on in approach with a focus on detail and ownership of tasks.
·Experience working with overseas subsidiaries.
·Excellent communication and expectation management skills.
·Able to provide support and guidance to other Finance team colleagues in supporting transformation to a ‘best in class’ team adding value to the business.
·Good understanding of systems and controls and able to action positive change.
·Qualification: ACA, CIMA etc – newly or nearly qualified also welcome
Desirable
·Experience within PE backed businesses, technology focus would be beneficial.
·NetSuite experience
·ERP implementation experience
This is a full-time, permanent role and will be able to work in the Nottingham office 3 days per week, usually Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays.
