Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Management Accountant to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management accounts function for this not for profit organisation.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation, based in York, that focuses on giving back to the education sector. As a medium-sized entity, they have a dedicated team that works towards achieving their mission of promoting and supporting inclusive and diverse learning environments.DescriptionManage all aspects of month end Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.Monitor financial transactions and reports.Ensure that all financial operations comply with policies and regulations.Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.Support auditing processes by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.Conduct regular financial analysis.Collaborate with the team to manage financial bookkeeping.ProfileA successful Management Accountant should have:Relevant experience in a similar role within management accountsStrong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.Experience with accounting software and data entry.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Job OfferA competitive daily rate of up to £175 per day Immediate start role Interim assignment with chance of permanent employment Hybrid working (1/2 days a week in the office in York)A supportive and inclusive work environment.Opportunities for professional development in the not-for-profit sector.We encourage all qualified candidates who wish to contribute to a not-for-profit organisation, and experience the vibrant city of York, to apply.
