Through a portfolio of progressive solutions, we work with customers to strengthen their business through ISO certification, ISO training and consultancy, all delivered by our inhouse expertise.The Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in financial operations. The primary responsibility will be to produce accurate and timely management accounts. It will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and providing ad hoc analysis for finance and cross-functional reporting. Month-end duties will form a significant part of the role and you will also play a key part in the annual audit process.What that means day to day
Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts monitoring performance against budget.
Ownership of comprehensive revenue recognition processes.
Production of Monthly financial MI
Participation in financial performance reviews.
Assist with year-end closing and preparation of documents for annual group audit.
Assist with Budgeting/Forecasting activities.
Responsible for Balance Sheet reconciliations and analysis.
Identify areas for continuous improvement and drive change.
Undertake ad-hoc duties as required and requested.
What you’ll need to be successfulEssential:
Full/part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA etc.).
Competent with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Commitment to maintaining a high standard and quality of work and ethics.
Able to work independently and as part of a team, openly sharing knowledge and skills.
Analytical and able to identify issues, risks and opportunities for doing things differently.
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
Flexible to meet varying responsibilities as listed above.
Desirable:
Proven working experience in a Management Accounts role.
Advanced Excel skills are an advantage.
Experience within the TIC sector.
Knowledge of Financial Accounting Systems (preferably AX & Microsoft F&O).
