The detailsOur client, a PE backed ecommerce organisation, requires a Management Accountant. The organisation is highly acquisitive and as such this is a newly created position within the finance function reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller. Key accountabilities will include:* Preparation of monthly management accounts in accordance with revenue recognition policies and applicable accounting standards* Preparation of monthly divisional management accountants* Provide variance analysis and commentary* Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations* Assist in the consolidation of the group* Preparation of project and customer profitability reports* Involved with the annual forecasts and budget preparation* Maintain fixed asset register* Process improvements and ongoing development of processes, systems and procedures* Customer level reporting covering revenue and margin by product* Preparation of weekly reports e.g., cash forecastsThe successful applicant will be a qualified accountant with good knowledge of UK GAAP, particularly around revenue recognition along with experience of working in an Ecommerce/IT/ Telco industry. Experience of business integration and systems deployment would be beneficial.
