Management Accountant

Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a successful and growing business within the energy and renewables sector in East Oxfordshire to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. A great opportunity to join at a pivotal point in the business trajectory, focused on deliver of monthly management accounts and developing those coming through the function.If you are studying or recently qualified with a background in Management Accounts and an understanding/experience within transactional finance, this could be a great opportunity to progress!The Management Accountant position will be paying between £43,000 and £50,000 per annum plus bonus, 25 days holiday, private medical and plenty more!The Management Accountant RoleThis role would suit somebody with experience around month end and production of accounts within a relatively fast paced and high-volume environment, couple this with an understanding or oversight of transactional finance and you will be set up for success!Key responsibilities include:Production of monthly management accounts including P&L review/analysisBalance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journal entriesPreparation of quarterly VAT returnsMentor, guide and develop the transactional finance teamWork closely with the FP&A team to ensure they have accurate data to work fromKey Skills and ExperienceActively studying or completed ACCA/CIMA or equivalentIntermediate Excel (Pivot tables, V-lookups, SUMIFS etc.)Ability to manipulate data through ExcelPrior exposure to management/mentoring advantageous
