As we continue to grow and expand in the UK and France, we are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join our dynamic team to make a significant impact and drive our business forward. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this role is responsible for the preparation of management accounts for all business segments, including our Managed pubs in the UK and France. You will play a pivotal vital role in managing and optimizing the financial performance of our organization. Working closely with the finance team, you will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing budgets and forecasts, tax reporting, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes.

Key Accountabilities: Completion of the month-end and the timely and accurate production of Management Accounts including analysis on the performance variances to Budget, latest Forecast and Prior year.Balance Sheet Reconciliations completed with the relevant supporting paperwork and commentary.Identifying process improvements and opportunities for aligning UK & French processes. Assisting the Group Finance Manager & Finance Business Partners with the budget, forecast and strategic planning process.Liaising with French external accountants for the completion of the various tax reporting.Supporting work on the UK and French annual audit process. Continuous review and monitoring of the incumbent processes within divisions. Assess existing reporting processes; propose improvements for streamlining and efficiency.Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to perform ad hoc analysis to support business functions.Working closely with the Assistant Management Accountant to ensure all necessary journal entries have been posted and reconciliations performed on a timely basis across business segments. About you: Qualified with minimum 1 year post qual experience in audit or industry, or finalist with 4+ years of relevant industry experience.Advanced Microsoft user, especially in Excel.A team player who encourages and supports others to resolve issues in a collaborative manner.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.A “can do” attitude, excited about being a part of a changing and evolving culture with a teamwork mentality.Able to demonstrate gravitas as a functional expert and be able to explain complex ideas to Finance and Non-Finance colleagues.Track record of driving process improvements and delivering results.
