Management Accountant

Job DescriptionGrafton Banks Finance is working with a successful and growing SME manufacturing business, based in Crawley, to recruit its new Management Accountant. Reporting to the Head of Finance this role will manage a small team to deliver the smooth running of the finance department.We are looking for a qualified accountant, or finalist, with proven management accounting experience. You will be strong analytically and ideally; you’ll be experienced working in SME’s. Key tasks:Weekly cashflow report to Head of Finance, CEO and COO.Monthly revenue recognition procedure.Preparation of monthly accounts to Trial Balance.Margin analysis across sectors and projects.Accruals and prepayments preparation & entry.Fixed asset register maintenance and calculation of monthly depreciation charge.Key comparison analysis against budget and prior periods.Monthly VAT return preparation and submission to HMRC.Approval of Bank reconciliations.Monthly sales reports, detailing revenue split by person.Management of a small team responsible for the accounts payable and receivable.Salary for this role is £55,000 + benefits including bonus, healthcare (individual and family), matched pension, and 25 days holiday. The role is hybrid working with 3 days per week in the clients offices.
