The selected individual will report directly to the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, taking charge of overseeing all financial operations of the company and ensuring adherence to accounting principles and standards.Your responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include:Oversee all financial aspects, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting to meet group standardsManage month-end and year-end processes, preparing financial statements and reconciliationsMonitor cash flow and financial performance, providing improvement recommendationsCalculate and report on financial and non-financial KPIsSupervise employee payroll and liaise with lenders on asset financingDevelop and implement financial policies for regulatory complianceCoordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies for compliancePrepare and submit VAT returnsSupport the finance team, provide training, and assist in recruitmentContribute to continuous improvement projects and provide financial data for tenderingCollaborate with departments for financial insights in strategic decision-making.Recommend financial systems for improved efficiencyStay updated on accounting standards and industry trendsLiaise with insurance companiesThe successful Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:Preference for a full qualification from CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) or CA (Chartered Accountant)Desirable, but not essential, to have some exposure to stock, WIP and service/manufacturingPrevious experience in a comparable rolePossess strong and adaptable communication skills, capable of fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersWork collaboratively with the operational aspects of the business, demonstrating an understanding of challenges and opportunitiesIf you're passionate about this position or are keen to hear more, please click on "apply" as soon as possible.You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.Due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not always possible to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
