Management Accountant

RECfinancial is working in partnership with a specialist manufacturing business in their search to appoint a new Management Accountant to be based at its Leicester site.
The role is based at the firm's impressive site based in South Leicestershire aroundten minutes from junction 21 of the M1. They are commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby, Northamptonand the Coventry / Warwickshire area.
Reportingto the Financial Controller the Management Accountant will be responsiblefor the preparationof the businesses monthly management accounts, board pack preparationand associated kpi reporting & analysis. The role has a strong commercial element as you will be working with heads of departments acrossthe business, having monthly P&L review meetings and supporting them to run their departmentswith financial efficiencies. The role will also has exposure to budgeting and forecasting activities.
The role would best suit a candidate who has existing experience of management accounting and also for someone who is looking for a role which will be working directly with the business.
Ideally you will be qualifiedor working towards the CIMA or ACCA qualification. Candidates who are QBE with substantial experience of the manufacturing sector will be considered.
