Management Accountant

Reed Finance are working closely with a growing manufacturing organisation currently expanding due to new contracts won. Our client based in Peterlee is looking for a Management Accountant to join the Finance Team and work closely with the Financial Controller.Responsibilities include: • Production of monthly management accounts for review by the Financial Controller and Directors• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.• Reconciliation of various tracker spreadsheets to nominal ledger• Preparation and input of monthly journals - including accruals and prepayments, deferred and accrued income, depreciation, salaries analysis• Raising invoices for services across a wide variety of clients• Regular review of aged debtors and creditors, invoices on hold• Monthly and weekly payroll management• Manage the cash flow forecasting process to ensure availability of operational funds• Highlight any working capital risks to the Financial Controller and Directors• Work with the senior management team to drive a cash conscious culture• Review weekly supplier payment runs and employee expense payments, set up by the Accounts Assistant, and process payment instructions• Maintain excellent day to day working relationships with the bank
