Our client, an innovative and forwarded thinking business based on the outskirts of Norwich, have an exciting opportunity to join the business as a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong all round skills who is looking to take the next step and progress. This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Ownership and reconciliation of daily technical accounting areas on balance sheet, including fixed assets, VAT, employee PAYE and inter-companies.
  • To review short-term cash flows.
  • To ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
  • Produce financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries.
  • To be the main contact for the finance team on operational activity, particularly payroll, ensuring a service orientated approach.
  • To be able to complete end to end payroll process and associated journals.
  • To support with the preparation of monthly management accounts, which includes posting journals and preparing management reports.
  • To produce annual statutory accounts in management accounts format.
  • To engage with budget holders.
  • Documenting and maintaining own procedures and processes.
  • To engage with the management and operational teams to provide financial analysis, to provide support, and recommendations.
  • To seek process efficiencies and opportunities to maximise profitability and cash.
  • To review monthly VAT submissions to HMRC.
