Management Accountant

We are seeking a diligent and capable Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial information to aid in management decision-making processes.

Description

• Prepare monthly management accounts and provide commentary on variances to budget/forecast.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis and support to the management team.
• Support year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation.
• Improve financial processes and systems within the company.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Liaise with other departments to improve understanding of financial information.
• Participate in projects as required by the management team.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A recognised professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of management accounting techniques.
• Excellent numerical abilities and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to effectively liaise with management and other departments.
