Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting a Management Accountant for an exciting retail brand. You will play a crucial role in driving the Group's high-level performance. In close partnership with the Group Finance Manager, you'll focus on enhancing the financial reporting and compliance, ensuring continued growth and success.
This role is based in Bath on a Hybrid model 3 days in the office.
The Role
- Prepare and review the Management Accounts for all group entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance before consolidation.
- Liaise with the wider business to improve and increase reporting at group, entity, and sub P&L levels.
- Collaborate with the Transactional Manager and Financial Accountant to enhance invoice coding and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee cash flow forecasts and VAT returns, contributing to the financial health of the Group
- Manage and mentor the Revenue and Margin Accountant and Assistant Management Accountant, fostering a team-oriented environment.
The Person
- Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant role, with a solid background in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis.
- A recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is essential.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and address financial discrepancies.
- Strong leadership qualities, capable of managing and developing a team, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
