Management Accountant

I am currently looking for a proactive Management Accountant to join a national team based in either Ashby or Blackpool. You will be part of an established Finance team and will be responsible for providing monthly management accounts, cashflow analysis, forecasting and tax compliance. Reporting to the Head of finance in a company that believes that their success is driven by their culture and recognises that their people are their greatest asset.

Job Description

• Preparing the monthly financial reporting for the business on a timely and accurate basis
• Preparing regular cashflow analysis with key variances to forecast
• Monthly commentary with variance analysis to both budget and re-forecasts on the Management Accounts
• Preparing annual budgets and monthly re-forecasts to monitor and challenge company performance.
• Liaising with key personnel to ensure maintenance of Gross Margins in line with budgets.
• Keeping the company compliant with all tax matters
• Support both Purchase ledger and Sales Ledger Administrators wherever appropriate.
• Keeping all procedures and policies up to date
• Improve the Finance function operationally with improvements or cost savings.
• Support with the company Financial Audit process.
• Mentoring new and less experienced team members.
• Keep skills up to date with skills and developments in the role/expertise.

Experience

• 2 years professional experience within the Finance function
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel - VLOOKUP, IF statement
• Confidence to challenge stakeholders and process
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
