An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a fast-paced finance team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
* Uphold and enforce robust internal controls and procedures throughout the organisation.
* Execute monthly reconciliation of balance sheets for assigned accounts, promptly resolving identified discrepancies.
* Act as the primary liaison for Payroll and HR functions, overseeing payroll accounting processes.
* Take charge of the preparation and input of journals, ensuring the accuracy of accounting records for all transactions.
* Establish and maintain a comprehensive document filing system to meet the needs of External Auditors and facilitate audit activities.
* Ensure compliance with all government legislation and legal requirements at all times.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement, enhanced controls, and streamlined reporting.
* Contribute to the preparation and analysis of precise monthly management accounts and reports.
Experience:
* Possess an accounting degree or equivalent practical experience.
* Currently pursuing an accounting qualification.
* Demonstrated extensive experience in the field of accounting.
* Ability to meet deadlines while working independently and effectively under pressure.
* Strong commitment to service excellence with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
* Demonstrated sensitivity in handling confidential information.
* Proactive mindset with exceptional prioritisation and multitasking abilities.
