Management Accountant – Temporary to Permanent
Location: Halifax (FULL TIME - OFFICE BASED)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to oversee all aspects of product and production costing, as well as sales and gross margin analysis. This role involves collaborating with managers across multiple sites to design and implement robust cost reporting systems. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background and provide support and guidance to production teams, ensuring accurate capture of costs including full monthly management account preparation and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee product and production costing including reporting and presentation.
Ensuring accurate stock cost roll-ups and investigate cost price changes.
Produce monthly Management Accounts and departmental overhead reports.
Regular variance analysis for manufacturing and sales profitability
Provide accurate management information to key stakeholders.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and assist with ad-hoc finance projects.
Prepare timely and accurate month-end reports.
Serve as the primary financial costing support for senior leadership
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Management Accountant within a manufacturing business, ideally part or fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA)
Strong experience in product and production costing.
Proficiency in sales and gross margin analysis.
Ability to design and implement cost reporting systems.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
