Management Accountant- FTC 12

This role will support the Finance Business Partner across all aspects of financial information including monthly reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc requests.Role RequirementsThe role will entail but will not be exclusive to:Prepare monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis and commentaryFull responsibility for balance sheet reconciliationsBe a subject matter expert on the respective BU resultsPrepare, review and challenge budgets, business plans and forecastsMaintain financial control processesProactively suggest and implement process improvementsLiaise with BU stakeholders on a regular basis in order to help them understand financial resultsLiaising with auditors both internally and externallyProviding balance sheet and P&L analysisOther ad hoc finance tasksBe involved in projects as requiredCandidate RequirementsEssentialProfessional Accountancy Part Qualification ACCA/CIMA/CA/ACADegree in Finance or business related subject or equivelant qualification.Either have trained within a reputable accountancy firm or will have experience in a similar position.Experience in branch accounting is desirable.Strong experience in preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciliations, audit involvement.Experience in dealing with difficult stakeholders & communicating with non-finance stakeholders at all levels.Experience working within a fast-paced commercial environment.High degree of problem solving skills required.Excellent communication skills.Strong stakeholder management skills.Closing date: 12th Apr 2024
