Management Accountant/ Finance Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a leading wholesale, distribution and manufcaturing business in Grimsby as they look to recruit a Management Accountant/Finance Manager into the team. This varied role will allow you to be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day function of the finance team, producing the monthly management accounts as well as working closely with the operations teams to help manage profitiability and costs. The Management Accountant role will ensure that everything is processed in a robust and accurate manner within time frames and business deadlines. The role will include the following duties and responsibilities: -
Managing and leading the day to day running of the finance team including overseeing financial transactions
Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
Maintain BoM (Bill of Material) set up and accuracy on Sage 200
Liaise with procurement, Production and Logistics to ensure accuracy of buying prices for RM, labour Standards, waste, giveaway and Freight costs are correct
Check & set standard costs for all products (PAS & UK production)
Liaise with sales team to ensure they have accurate product costs for new business quotes and NPD launches
Investigation and Reporting of variances to the business
