Permanent Connect 44 are currently hiring for a Business Partner/ Management Accountant based on a Hybrid Basis in Bracknell.Job Description:Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting statements of the assigned entities, together with annual audit coordination and preparationFinancial Control and Reporting Controlling duties for the entitiesMonthly balance sheet account reconciliationsProviding analysis and insight, linking financial reports to business strategiesContributing to key decision makingImplementing changes to ensure that key targets are metActing as a financial advisor – offering general financial support to commercial decision makersUndertaking project-based work for specific strategies, projects or business initiatives including Profitability & Cash flow modellingResponsible for the monthly reporting to the financing partners as neededCash planning requirements & liquidity monitoring of the entities (t/w Group Treasurer)Maintenance, control and ownership of the entities general ledger (t/w Finance Ops team)Posting/controlling of the accounts payable (t/w Finance Ops team)Posting/controlling of the accounts receivable (t/w Finance Ops team)Monitoring/Collections of the overdues for C44 (t/w Finance Ops team)Building and maintaining relationships with senior managers and their departments icl. Operations, People & Culture, Administration & SalesInteraction with the external partners (e.g. tax, finance etc.) & primary audit contactPreparation of all declarations or submission to 3rd party accountants as required (e.g. Sales tax/ VAT, Statistical and Credit Bureau Reporting)Provide cover on other ledger entities as required (during holidays etc.)Active role in improving the Connect44 processes (e.g. development of ERP, and MI)ROLE SPECIFICATION:Forming part of the finance team, the Management Accountant Business Partner is responsible for LedgerMaintenance & Financial Control & Reporting across a Group of countriesRequired Education & Trainings:Accounting qualification / Finalist and QBERequired Experience:Previous relevant working experience in FinanceOwnership and control of end-to-end reporting of Financial AccountsCommercial Analysis and ReviewSpecific skills & technical knowledge:Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret raw data and translate it into clear, concise informationThe ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance individualsFast and accurate working skillsPerson with spirit of initiative and independent workingDependable and flexibleAnalytical thinking with regards to everyday workProblem solving skills and the ability to think creativelyThe ability to influence and win over stakeholdersDemonstrable leadership skillsThe confidence to justify and implement changeFluent German & English (written and spoken) further languages (Dutch, French, Spanish, Romanian) advantageousExcellent MS-Office knowledge, specifically Excel required and SAP by Design knowledge preferred.
