With a focus on service users and leveraging cutting-edge technology, Preventx is dedicated to providing accessible, confidential, and high-quality sexual health solutions and is the largest provider of remote sexual health testing in the UK.As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join our award-winning finance team.Responsible to:Group Finance DirectorPurpose of Role:The Management Accountant will play a key role in steering process improvement, providing financial insights, preparing the month end management accounts and supporting the Finance team with Ad-hoc requests. This individual will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reports, analysing financial data, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.Location:Head Office, Preventx Ltd, MBP5, Meadowhall Business Park, Carbrook Hall Road, Sheffield S9 2EQKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare Monthly Management Accounts and assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of the board pack.Prepare weekly trading dashboard for overseas subsidiaries.Support in-housing of European management accounting.Re-develop current reporting pack to automate monthly and weekly UK reporting.Manage the automated expense system.Support robust implementation of new Warehouse Management System.Analyse financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost reductions.Identify areas for process improvement and automation within the finance function.Implement efficiency-enhancing measures to streamline financial processes.Assist Finance Manager with implementing and managing automated invoice processing software.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.Assist Finance Manager in the assessment of financial risks and develop mitigation strategies as needed.Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment within the finance team.Oversight of debtors/creditors management / supplier relationships / investigating any disputes that finance assistants/junior staff member raise.Assisting with ad-hoc requests and ESG data gathering.Person SpecificationThe preferred candidate will have the following experience, abilities, and aptitudes:Qualification• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Knowledge and Experience• Experience of AP and AR• Produced budgets up to multi-millions• Experience supporting annual audit• Experience of Financial Planning & AnalysisSkills• Strong technical accounting knowledge• Excel and modellingThis job description is not exhaustive and serves only to highlight the main requirements of the post holder.
